Landuzzi Cristina

Cristina Landuzzi's musical background dates back to the courses of piano (she graduated in 1981), Choir Music and Conducting (graduation in 1985) and graduation in Composition with Mo Cesare A. Grandi and Mo Alessandro Solbiati getting a degree "summa cum laude" at the "G.B. Martini" Conservatory in Bologna.
In 1988-1989 she attended post-graduate studies held by Mo Franco Donatoni at the Accademia Musicale Chigiana in Siena, participating in concerts recorded by RAI and winning scholarships and merit diplomas.
In 1991 she achieved the post-graduate Diploma in Composition at the Accademia Nazionale di S. Cecilia in Rome and the following year she wins the Biennale "Giovani artisti dell'Europa Mediterranea 1992".
Among her compositions performed in Italy there are those in Siena - Accademia Chigiana (1988-1989), Rome Ð Auditorium dell'Accademia Nazionale di S. Cecilia (1990), Turin, RAI Auditorium Ð XV Festival Inter-nazionale di Antidogma Musica (1992), Cosenza Ð VII Festival Musica d'oggi (1991), Perugia Ð "I Concerti di Musica in prospettiva" (1991), Cremona Ð XII Rassegna di Spazio Novecento (1991), Como Ð VIII Rassegna Concertistica di Traiettorie Sonore (1991), etc. Abroad her compositions have been performed in Paris, Maison de Radio France Ð Review of "Jeunes compositeurs" (1990-1992), Marseille Ð Rassegna biennale "Giovani artisti dell'Europa Mediter-ranea" (1990), Salonicco, Foro Romano Ð Carrefour de la MediterranŽe (1991), Alkmaar (1992), Dublin (1994) by prestigious soloists and instrumental groups, recorded by RAI, Radio France and Greek Radio.
She collaborated with famous Opera Theatres and National Symphonic Orchestras which assigned her compositions for important events such as "Concerti Break" of Teatro Comunale di Bologna (1993), The Symphonic Season of the Symphonic Orchestra of RAI in Rome (1993) and the "Feste Musicali" of Teatro Comunale di Bologna (1994).
Since November 1994, her composition activity has reached important goals: commitment from "Rive Gauche" (Turin) for Fantasiestück no 2 (obligatory composition in 2nd Flute International Competition "Syrinx-Musica Riva" of Riva del Garda, Verona); commitment from Teatro Comunale di Bologna "Feste Musicali" for Credo "Salvum me fac"; commitment from "Biennale di Venezia 1995" for Fantasiestück no 4 (performed by Nieuw Ensemble from Amsterdam). Besides, other commitments from important italian musicians like "Duo Lippi-Boem" for Fantasiestück no 3 (performed in Dublin, Eire), from "Ensemble Mozart" (Turin) for Fantasiestück no 5, from Federico Paci for "...di mutevoli incanti...".
She also recorded two compositions on CD, "Insonni, lucidi albori" and "Come lucenti forme". Her works are published by Suvini Zerboni in Milan.
She now teaches Composition at "G.B. Martini" Conservatory in Bologna.
