For almost a century the Suvini Zerboni Editions have been active in the production, diffusion and promotion of classical and contemporary music.
The works we publish are for the music lover in general but also address the professional musician and musicologist.
This is why a large part of our catalogue consists in critical editions with introductory essays, edited by some of the most prestigious researchers and musicologists from Italy and from abroad, to name a few: Mario Baroni, Alberto Basso, Ottavio Beretta, Lorenzo Bianconi, Marie Therèse Bouquet, Giovanni Carli Ballola, Rossana Dalmonte, Étienne Darbellay, Paolo Fabbri, Claudio Gallico, Oscar Mischiati, Luigi Ferdinando Tagliavini. Our carefully edited scores are among the moost appreciated and diffused among musicologists. They embrace the works of great Renaissance musicians (Girolamo Frescobaldi, Luca Marenzio, Giovanni Contino, all part of the Monumenti Musicali Italiani series, conceived and promoted by the SOCIETA' ITALIANA DI MUSICOLOGIA), the revival of rare masterpieces from the classical period (Domenico Cimarosa, Antonio Salieri) all the way to a critical edition of the works of Bruno Maderna.
